Meet Mattie
Mattie Hatcher was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, as the youngest of five children in a family deeply rooted in both athletic and entrepreneurial pursuits. With all five siblings including herself competing at the collegiate level in their sport, Mattie developed a strong competitive spirit early on. Mattie’s father, Greg Hatcher, founder of The Hatcher Agency and a prominent real estate developer and investor ignited Mattie’s passion for real estate. Mother, Lee Hatcher, is also a profound entrepreneur focusing on real estate development and supporting the local equestrian community. Mattie focuses on the quality of curiosity and becoming a lifelong learner. She thoroughly enjoys helping others navigate their real estate investments with both expertise and quality service.
An accomplished athlete, Mattie excelled in soccer, basketball, and equestrian show jumping as a two-time high school Arkansas Women’s Soccer Player of the Year, single representative athlete of the United States at the 2018 Youth Olympics, earning a gold medal in equestrian show and Collegiate Student-Athlete of Captain of the Women’s Basketball team at Samford University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship.
In September 2023, drawn by a love for the mountains and the lifestyle they offer, Mattie relocated to Aspen, Colorado, to begin her professional career. She joined Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty as a licensed real estate broker, where she benefited from the mentorship and expertise of Scott Bayens. Now leading Hatcher Properties, Mattie enjoys furthering her family’s legacy in real estate focusing on quality service.
Mattie is deeply committed to community involvement, particularly in youth sports, which she enjoys being a part of kid’s growth and development. She is a part-time coach for the Varsity Women's Basketball team at Aspen High School, an active member of Aspen Rotary Club and Aspen Business Connect, a member of Crossroads Church, participates in a recreational adult women's soccer league and remains engaged in the equestrian community having her horse in the Roaring Fork Valley. Despite her move to Aspen, CO away from her family, the family remains the highest property to Mattie. She contributes much of her success to the influence of her family and is very grateful that she gets to see them often.
